I BOUGHT MY DRESS!!!! Okay so it's going to be 6 months yet before I get to actually try on "my" dress but I am so excited! It's going to look soooooo good. I would post a picture of it but it really doesn't do it justice so I'm not going to. So there's my current wedding update.

I'll keep you posted as things progress.

My 25th Birthday

This year I decided that I didn't want to plan my birthday party. So I made Hank do it. He did a great job. ( with help from Cat and Adam )

All my good friends were there... Cat & Adam, Jenn & Matt, Jenn and my cousin Janice.

It was a great night had by all.

We first went to Montana's for dinner. Yes they made me wear the stupid moose hat. I hate that thing. Then we went bowling at Xcalibur Bowling. That was sooo much fun... I actually beat Hank for a change!!!

Engagement

For those of you who do not know yet, Hank and I are engaged!

Hank proposed to me on Friday, October 13th 2006 on the pier in White Rock.

This is how it happened...

Hank and I had been talking about getting married for a couple of weeks and decided to look for a ring. After looking at a lot of places here at home we decided to wait to finalize the ring that i wanted until after we got back from Monroe, WA during the Thankgiving long weekend so we could look at the outlet malls and bellis fair.
While at the outlet mall we found the ring! Hank and Adam went to go purchase the ring but came back telling me that he could not purchase it. I was quite upset because i knew it was the one. After leaving we went to Bellis fair and looked for at a few more store. There was one there that i really liked as well but it still wasn't "the one".
So we came back home and had talked about going back down on the next Saturday and hopefully it would still be there.
Come Friday of the next week I talked to him on the phone in the early afternoon as he had a shorter day and he told me he had a suprise for me. ( I don't really like suprises) I got to his place after work and he handed me the new Evenessence CD (which I absolutly love by the way) I was like "Sweet!" Then he said that he had another suprise for me and said I would have to wait. He then mentioned to me that we were going to be having dinner in White Rock with our best friends Cat & Adam and their baby Willow. I was set back by this because I had also talked to Cat earlier that day and she said her parents were coming over for dinner... therfore even more confused by this day.
When we got to White Rock Cat and Adam were already there. We decided to go to Charlie Don't Surf for dinner. They have good food. Still not knowing anything Cat sent me to the washroom to change Willow. Turns out Cat and Adam had the ring for the last week. So after dinner we went for a walk down the pier. By this time i had forgotten about the "suprise". As we got to the end hank pulls out his phone and was going to text message "will you marry me" to my phone but his battery died. Therefore he called me over kneeled down and did it the old fashioned way. I was utterly shocked! I thought he didn't get the ring. I almost cried I was so happy.
I think my perma-grin is finally starting to fade a bit...(not a lot just a bit)

My new ride!!!

Okay so I have finally gotten a chance to post the pictures of my new car. Let me know what you think. It is a 1990 Honda Civic Si with a rebuilt 1996 Honda Civic engine. The graphics are all paint, there are no stickers on my car. She runs like a real champ. I'll be keeping you updated with any changes to it.
